Physico-chemical properties: ERGON is a solid, conditioned product in the form of water dispersible granules (WG), white in color with a characteristic odor. It is NOT flammable, non-explosive, non-oxidizing.
Mode of Action: ERGON is a sulfonylurea herbicide, used for the control of dicotyledonous weeds in cereal straw cereals. It is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and translocated throughout the plant. For best control, weeds should be at the 2-3 leaf stage (rosette diameter less than 5 cm) when growth is active. Apply once per season, postemergence. The crop must have at least 3 leaves when applied. Use 100-400 L of water depending on vegetation density. Take care not to overlap two sprays in the same furrow. Do not apply to crops under stress (drought, disease, extreme temperatures, waterlogging, nutrient deficiencies, etc.). Do not apply to crops wet from rain or dew.
Application technique: Pour the required amount into the tank of the machine half-filled with water, with the agitator running until the product is completely dispersed. Fill the tank with water. Continue stirring the solution throughout the spraying operation. Prior to spraying it is necessary to calibrate the equipment to ensure uniformity. Use immediately after preparation.
Compatibility: It is generally physically compatible with most herbicides, but a compatibility test under specific conditions is recommended. Carefully follow the label directions of each partner product for mixing.
Subs replacement crops: If the crop fails for any reason within 3 months after application of ERGON, only wheat will be seeded. Before sowing the soil should be tilled to a depth of at least 15 cm. Subsequent crops: After a crop herbicided with ERGON in the same year, only cereals, oilseed rape, beans or grass grasses may be sown. Before sowing rape or beans, the soil should be ploughed to a depth of 20 cm.
