Physico-chemical characteristics: It does not corrode and is stable to light radiation and temperature.
Mode of action: It is used as a bait to combat flies (Musca domestica, Stomoxys calcitrans).
Acts on acetylcholine receptors in the postsynaptic membrane of the nervous system. Flies die very shortly after ingestion. It is formulated with fly attractants and sex pheromones. It also contains a bitter agent BITREX which makes it unpalatable, reducing the risk of ingestion by children and animals.
Recommended dosage: 250 g of product dissolved in 250 ml of water for an area of 100 square meters.
Method of application: To treat an area with a footprint of 100 square meters, dissolve 250 grams of product in 250 ml of water. The resulting solution must be spread with a brush or roller on cardboard cutouts with a total surface area of 1 square meter. The cardboard cutouts are then distributed over the area to be treated. Up to 6 applications can be made per year. It is intended for professional users.
Treatments are recommended early in the season, before fly populations have reached maximum infestation. Best results are obtained when the product is applied to as many parts of the treated area as possible, especially in warm and windless places where flies take shelter.
