MAVRIK 2F

Mavrik 2F is a contact and ingestion insecticide with a long-lasting residual effect. The active substance tau-fluvalinate is a pyrethroid that acts on the nervous system of target pests in a different way than other pyrethroids.

Tau-fluvalinate maintains sodium channels at nerve endings, thereby affecting the depolarisation process of the cell membrane, causing severe metabolic disturbances, disordered hyperactivity and ultimately pest death. This active substance is characterised by a higher photo- and thermo-stability, a higher solubility in lipids (it crosses the insect cuticle faster) and a selective spectrum of control, the main targets being sucking insects (aphids, thrips and leaf fleas), but also some chewing insects (coleoptera and lepidoptera).

Applied at recommended rates and under normal climatic conditions, the product does not produce phytotoxicity phenomena.

Maximum number of successive treatments with Mavrik 2F and time interval between treatments: maximum 3 treatments at 10-day intervals on cereals and maximum 2 treatments at 14-day intervals on other approved crops.

Compatibility: Mavrik 2 F can be compatible with many of the insect fungicides currently used in Romania, except for products with a strong alkaline reaction. Mixtures should be used as soon as they have been prepared. The behaviour of the crop when using the mixtures is also greatly influenced by weather conditions. Never mix products without first carrying out compatibility tests on small areas.

Break time to harvest: oilseed rape and sunflower - 60 days; barley, wheat, apple and peach - 30 days; strawberry - 14 days; cucumber, solarium cucumber, cabbage, onion and field tomato - 7 days.
