PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:
PHYSICAL CHEMICAL PROPERTIES: MIDOS OIL is a clear, colorless, liquid, emulsifiable concentrate (EC) with a characteristic odor. It is non-flammable, non-explosive, non-oxidizing.
METHOD OF ACTION: MIDOS OIL is a paraffinic oil-based insecticide. It is recommended for the control, in particular, of tortoise lice. It acts by forming a thin layer of gas on insects and eggs, causing their death by asphyxiation. It is also effective against fumigation caused by insect attack. Apply once a year from early spring up to BBCH 53 (pips) and BBCH 60 (seeds) with a volume of water to ensure good coverage of treated plants.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: PREPARATION OF THE SOLUTION: Shake container well before use. It is advisable to use a defoaming agent if excessive foaming occurs in the tank. Pour the required amount of product into the tank of the machine half filled with clean water, with the agitator running until completely dispersed. The solution must be agitated throughout the treatment and also during any stoppage. Prepare only the amount of solution required for the current spray and use it immediately after preparation.
DO NOT APPLY WITH AVIO AVIO EQUIPMENT! USE WHEN THE WIND IS NOT BLOWING! DO NOT CONTAMINATE OTHER CROPS, FOOD, DRINKS OR WATER RUNNINGS!

COMPATIBILITY: The product cannot be mixed with sulfur-based products, polysulfides, captan or folpet. Apply the product at least 40 days after treatment with sulfur, polysulfides, captan or folpet.
Please NOTE: if mixed with other products, the product with the longest waiting period should be used. The precautionary rules prescribed for the product with the highest toxicity in the mixture shall also be followed. If poisoning occurs, inform your doctor about the mixture.
PHOTOTOTOTOXICITY: Do not carry out treatments on hot and dry days.
WASHING STROPPING EQUIPMENT: After use, clean equipment with water and detergent solution, and rinse with clean water. Contaminated liquid resulting from cleaning shall be disposed of safely according to local regulations.
