MERPAN 80 WDG is a fungicide with specific multi-site action, especially against fungi causing fruit tree root rot (Venturia spp.) and other diseases (anthracnose, leaf spot, soil borne diseases) in other crops.

The active substance captan belongs to the phthalimide group and has a contact preventive action and is known to be the fungicidal substance with the best effect in preventing and controlling primary and secondary rabies infections in fruit trees. It penetrates rapidly into the mycelium of susceptible fungi and prevents the onset of infections on treated organs by blocking their respiration and cell division.

Although it is not translocated inside tissues, the product adheres very well on treated organs and is hardly washed off by rain, achieving a protection period of 5 to 7 days. Under certain conditions of application, MERPAN 80 WDG has also demonstrated an action to stop incipient infections. The application of MERPAN 80 WDG prevents the emergence of pathogen resistance to fungicide application and as a result it is an optimal partner for systemic fungicides.

Break time to harvest: tomato, cherry, apricot, peach, plum, raspberry - 21 days; apple, pear - 28 days; cucumber, bean - 14 days.
