MOD OF ACTION

SIVANTO PRIME 200 SL is an insecticide product containing the new active substance flupyradifuron, belonging to the chemical class butenolide. The product acts by contact or ingestion and has a systemic and long-lasting activity in plants and is effective in controlling a wide range of insects, in particular biting and sucking mouthparts. The actual effect on insect pests is to irreversibly disrupt the vital functions of their nerve centers, leading to cessation of feeding (after 1-2 hours) and eventual death.

METHOD OF USE

Treat as follows: for aubergines, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, courgettes:from the full formation of the second leaf on the main stem (BBCH 12) until full ripening (BBCH 89); for lettuce:from the full formation of the second leaf (BBCH 12) until the typical characteristics of the species/hybrid/variety (shape, size and firmness) are achieved; for bulbous flowers and other ornamental plants:from the formation of the second leaf; for apple trees:from full flowering with at least 50% of the flowers open (BBCH 65) until the fruit reaches 90% of the size characteristic of the variety (BBCH 79).
Treatment is repeated at 7-10 day intervals (depending on the crop, as per the table above) for optimum pest control. Time from last treatment to harvest: 3 days for eggplant, tomato, cucumber, pepper, peppers, zucchini, lettuce; 14 days for apple; not applicable to ornamentals and bulbous flowers.
PAGE WARNING! ** Dosage and amount of water per ha is calculated according to crown height (e.g. for a tree with a crown height of 2.5 m: 0.75 L/ha commercial product in 625-1250 L water/ha). This product must not be used in combination with fungicides of the group of sterol biosynthesis inhibitors class I (demethylation inhibitors - code 3 FRAC) for flowering plants or plants that are visited by bees.
